Instructions for Use – Self-Powered Emergency Radio
📻 How to use the radio:
- Turn the volume knob clockwise to turn on and adjust the volume.
- Select the desired band: AM, FM or NOAA (WB).
- For best reception, fully extend the antenna.
- Turn the TUNER DIAL to find a station.
- The green indicator light turns on when the station is tuned correctly.
🔦 LED Flashlight:
- Press the flashlight button to turn the 3 high-brightness LEDs on or off.
🔋 Charging Modes:
1. Solar Energy:
- Place the device in the sun (10–12h). The red light turns on while charging.
2. Hand Crank:
- Lift the handle and rotate for 3–5 minutes on first use (or after 60 days of non-use).
- Subsequently, 2–3 minutes of rotation (≥130 rpm) provides:
- 15–20 min of light
- 15–20 min radio (medium volume)
- 3–5 min emergency calls
3. Charging via USB:
- Connect to the USB port of a computer or adapter.
- The red light indicates that it is charging.
🔌 Charging external devices:
- Lift the rubber side cover.
- Connect the USB cable to the radio and the device (cell phones, MP3, etc.).
🔒 Security Protections:
- It automatically shuts down in case of overload, short circuit or when the battery drops below 2.5V.
- Red indicator turns off when fully charged.
⚠️ Care and Maintenance
- Clean with a soft, damp cloth; avoid abrasive products or solvents.
- Not fully waterproof (IPX3) – do not submerge.
- If left idle for more than 60 days, recharge by hand crank or solar power for 3–5 minutes before use.
